Hi Guys,
I have this close friend of mine who helps out with the red cross relief effort in North Eastern Kenya. He tells me that they are feeding goats there, not people.
The staple food for cushited happens to be whety meals i.e. chapati, spaghetti, pasta and rice. Since they have livestock, they do consume meat and milk alot. All they need is wheat and water. He says the best thing you can do to them is give them water for their animals and they will do the rest themselves.
Its not strange, so, finding these guys crashing the relief maize and feed it to their goats as they go hungry. Give them what they can use.
