Sarnoff of NBC said in the 1920s, "The wireless box has no imaginable
commercial value. Who would pay for a message sent to nobody in particular?"
Lord Kelvin, the President of the Royal Society in 1895 said,
"Heavier-than-air machines are impossible."
In 1899 Charles H. Duell, Commissioner, Office of Patents said, "Everything
that can be invented has been invented!"
And even Bill Gates the computer whiz kid said in 1981 "640 K ought to be
enough for anybody!"
